The gambling company 188BET has appointed Truly London to handle its £16m global advertising account. The agency will manage 188BET’s communications, including its websites.
Truly London will be aiming to increase consumer engagement with the 188BET brand among men aged 25 to 44, particularly in the Asian market.
The agency has already designed a new logo for 188BET. Truly London will be responsible for the 118BET website and microsites, as well as for advertising.
188BET CEO Andy Scott says: “For a brand that is relatively unknown outside Asia we need to think and behave differently to more established brands if we’re to break into a number of highly competitive markets. So far we are very impressed by the creative work behind our new logo which will be seen around the world via our sponsorship of Wigan Athletic and Bolton Wanderers football clubs.”
Truly London CEO Paul Simmons says: “It's been a great experience for both parties. Handling the complete communications package has been rewarding for us."
