Tresco Estate has appointed advertising agency Purple Frog to develop a new marketing strategy for the organisation.
Purple Frog’s remit is promote the Tresco Estate, based in the Scilly Isles, as a holiday destination. “We are looking to help achieve greater awareness of the island as a unique destination for short breaks as well as holidays,” says David Finch, Purple Frog’s managing director.
The strategy will involve direct marketing that designed to steer potential customers to the company’s website. “The website is currently accommodation-led but we’ll be revamping it so that it is more destination-led,” says Finch. “We will be able to monitor response rates to specific offer pages and we intend to make the whole experience more user-friendly.”
This is the first time that the Tresco Estate has appointed an agency to manage its promotion. “We face challenging times,” says Euan Rodger, Tresco Estate sales and marketing manager. “We are keen to ensure that marketing and communications are working well in the short term, and that we have the necessary strategy in place for the future. Purple Frog's appointment is to help us achieve both.''
Purple Frog offers services in strategic and creative thinking, brand development, advertising campaigns and corporate marketing and communications and has previously worked with Bosch, Tork, EMI, Cotton Traders and the Disney Store.
