The agency London has been appointed by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group to handle its international and local advertising.
The UK agency will be responsible for the hotel brand’s global advertising, creating launch campaigns for 18 Mandarin Oriental hotels that are currently under development. London intends to deliver integrated campaigns online and using direct mail.
London’s founders, Michael Moszynski and Alan Jarvie, both worked for M&C Saatchi for 20 years before breaking away to start their own company. “Having previously worked with the Manadrin Oriental Group while at M&C Saatchi we had a strong idea of how to manage the business,” says London CEO Michael Moszynski. “We are thrilled to have secured the confidence of a brand of the calibre of Mandarin Oriental in our new business model for a global agency.”
Moszynski and Jarvie devised Mandarin Oriental’s global “fan” campaign, in which celebrities such as actor Liam Neeson and model Jerry Hall endorsed the brand. The campaign carried the tagline, “He’s [or she’s] a fan” alongside the hotel’s fan logo.
“For the past ten years Mandarin Oriental has enjoyed an excellent relationship with Michael Mozsynski and Alan Jarvie, who created our award-winning global ‘fan’ advertising campaign," says Jill Kluge, director of communications at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. "We look forward to working with them again in their new business model."
