Amy Fisher has been named as the new head of PR and communications agency, Trimedia Scotland.
Fisher will replace Graham Isdale, who currently runs Trimedia's offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Fisher joins Trimedia from Alliance Trust, where she was managing director of corporate communications. Fisher has also worked as a newspaper journalist and gained 10 years’ experience in PR consultancy at Lansons Communications.
"I’m excited to be joining Trimedia and to build on the work that Graham has achieved with the support of a first-class team,” says Fisher. “There are tremendous opportunities to build on the foundations that have been put in place.”
Trimedia Scotland’s has 29 offices in 11 countries. Current clients include Aviagen, Lactalis McLelland, Envirowise Scotland, Ernst & Young, BEAR Scotland, Napier University, Network Rail, Aberlour Childcare Trust and Dunfermline Building Society.
Isdale has not disclosed what his plans are after leaving Trimedia but says that he is seeking a new challenge. “My colleagues on the board at Trimedia UK have been supportive of my decision to move on,” says Isdale. “However, I wanted to be sure we found someone who could carry on the good work of building the business and our reputation in Scotland.”
“Graham has played a pivotal role in strengthening our Scottish operation, building it into an extremely valuable part of Trimedia’s network – and we are disappointed he has decided to leave,” says Trimedia UK CEO, Loretta Tobin.
