Online restaurant reservations company Livebookings has appointed Renette Youssef as marketing director. Youssef joins Livebooking’s London head-office and will be leading its international marketing strategy.
Youssef was formerly director of group marketing for Touchstone, a software and services company, where she was responsible for repositioning the company as a reseller rather than a services company.
Youssef has previous experience working for on international marketing strategy as marketing manager for QAS (formerly Quick Address), Asia Pacific, where she was tasked with building brand recognition across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
“I am really pleased to be joining Livebookings at an important time in the company’s development,” said Youssef. “The restaurant business is a diverse market and Livebookings is in an excellent position to deliver practical, cost-effective online marketing solutions to all types of restaurants, particularly at these challenging times.”
Livebookings currently handles reservations for 17,000 restaurants around Europe and hopes to grow over the coming year despite the downturn. “We are continuing to rapidly expand and bring more diners to more restaurants,” says David Norris, CEO of Livebookings. “As we grow, we can focus our expertise on developing our current marketing strategies to further streamline and advance communications with both our existing and new restaurant customers.”
