Customer loyalty cards have been given a new twist in Paris. French fast food chain Bert’s has linked up with Paris public transport card Navigo allowing customers to use the card to create a loyalty account that earns points and rewards. Meanwhile, in Germany, those who prefer to cycle can now also charge their mobiles. Pedal power has been given a literal interpretation by German bicycle manufacturer Silverback, which has created a bike that charges mobile devices through a USB port as you cycle.
