Leave those kids alone?

Marketing to children is contentious. Children can lack the objectivity necessary to make considered judgements. This can leave them vulnerable to suspect influences and inappropriate messages.

 

The Institute’s research paper, Leave those kids alone? Responsible marketing to children, promises to offer marketers a grounding in marketing to children, helping them ensure they work in a way that respects the sensitive nature of the subject. The paper will be presented at a briefing on 29 September in London.
