Digital marketing research

The Chartered Institute of Marketing’s first Shape the Agenda paper of 2010 will focus on understanding the future of digital marketing. The report will be launched on 4 March at the Institute’s HQ, Moor Hall, in Cookham, Berkshire.

 

Research conducted by the Institute reveals that while most forms of advertising are experiencing a decline, digital marketing continues to grow. The Institute’s next agenda paper aims to address a number of questions associated with this area of marketing, such as how companies can ensure they are getting appropriate return on investment for their spend and what the emerging trends are in digital marketing.

 

In addition, the paper will examine how marketers can take full advantage of the opportunities presented by mobile marketing and social networking.

 

The Institute’s Shape the Agenda papers are researched using contributions from marketing practitioners and academics. The launch of the digital marketing paper at Moor Hall in March will be followed by a regional tour later in the year.
